Copy Error Cannot access/create the destination file on the host machine in Sage 100

ISSUE


When you are trying to add a report in Sage 100 you receive an error
Copy Error Cannot access/create the destination file on the host machine. Error cannot copy file



CAUSE


When you try to import a file in Sage 100 (From the reports manager or any other area in Sage 100), it copies the file from a source to the MAS90\Reports folder. The above issue happens if your source file is already in the MAS90\Reports folder. As the process can not replace the existing .rpt file.

SOLUTION

  1. Make sure the source file is not in the MAS90\Reports folder
  2. If a similar report name already exists in MAS90\Reports folder, rename your source file
