How to perform a Force Session Logoff with the AppDashboard
How?
To perform a Force Session Logoff on the AppDashboard:
-
Double click on the
icon in the AppDashboard
-
Confirm by clicking "Yes". This will complete your session log off.
When?
If you are in a session, and your application is not responding or is stuck, rebooting your computer will not resolve the problem, as this session is stuck on the remote server and now on your local computer.
To reset your session on the server, you must force your session to log off by following steps described above.
Exception: If you disconnect (or restart your computer), your session on the server will go into a "Disconnected" state, and will be subject to the 15 minutes idle time out. (
see more about idle timeouts)
