How to Recover and Change Your Password on a Mac Using Microsoft Account
This article shows the process to recover or change your password when connecting to your gotomyerp hosted application using a Mac.
Recovering and Changing password are similar within the Microsoft Account management.
Recover or Change your Password
- Open a web browser and navigate to https://accounts.microsoft.com
- Click Sign In
- User your gotomyerp username (usually firstname.lastname@gotomyerp.cloud)
At this point you can click on "Forgot my Password" to recover your account. (Follow the instructions to do so) - Otherwise, enter your known password, and complete your two-factor authentication.
- Once signed in click on the "Change Password" link.
- Enter a new password, and confirm it.
Your password is now changed.
Next Steps
On your Windows App
Refresh your apps by hovering next to your company name, then clicking the "Refresh" icon.
On your Transmit App (for FileBridge)
- Find your FileBridge configuration in Transmi
- Right click and select "Edit.."
- Update the "Password" field with the latest password, then save it.
- Double click on the FileBridge configuration to verify a successful connection.
