How to Tell Which AppDashboard Version You’re Using (1.0 vs 2.0)
There are two AppDashboard versions. The correct one depends on whether your Windows environment is before or after the infrastructure migration.
Quick Rule
- Before the infrastructure migration: Use AppDashboard 1.0
- After the infrastructure migration: Use AppDashboard 2.0
How to Identify Your Version
Look at the AppDashboard shortcut icon and name on your Windows desktop (or Start Menu).
| Version | What You’ll See | When to Use It |
|---|
| AppDashboard 1.0 (Old) | - Shortcut name commonly shows "AppDashboard"
- Icon looks like two circular arrows (blue/orange)
| All Windows users before the infrastructure migration |
| AppDashboard 20 (New) | - Shortcut name shows "AppDashboard2.0"
- Icon looks like an orange bar chart with a blue checkmark
| All Windows users after the infrastructure migration

If You’re Not Sure
- If you were migrated and still only see 1.0, your shortcut may not be updated.
- If you see both shortcuts, use the version that matches your migration status (1.0 before, 2.0 after)
