TLS 1.2 Compliance for Sage 100 and Sage 300

TLS 1.2 Compliance for Sage 100 and Sage 300

Overview

Sage has announced the following:
"Effective October 1, 2023, Sage servers will stop accepting communication from Sage 100 and Sage 300 product versions using Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.0 and 1.1."
This will mean that older versions of Sage will need to be upgraded to a version that supports TLS 1.2.

What needs to be done?
Rest assured, all gotomyerp servers have been updated to support the use of TLS 1.2 at the Operating System level. If you are on a currently supported version of Sage 100\300 then there is no action needed. As of the latest information we have, the below Sage versions are supported (subject to change).

If you are on a version older than the ones listed above, please contact your Sage consultant and sales@gotomyerp.com to obtain information about upgrading your server.

What if I don't upgrade on time?

Below is taken from the Sage document linked above.
10.Q. What will happen if an upgrade to TLS 1.2 is not completed?
For customers on subscription, the software will be unable to acquire an updated expiration
date from our servers and will initiate subscription warning messages. If not addressed, the
software will revert to read-only mode and restrict access after a grace period of
approximately 45 days.
