How to enable F9 COM Add-In in MS Excel

Why does this happen

Sometimes the F9 Com-Add in doesn't load properly or the user mistakenly disables it.

How to enable it

Please follow the below instructions
  • Open Microsoft Excel
  • Open a new Blank workbook
           
  • Click Options

           
  • Click on Add-Ins
  • Select COM Add-Ins from the list
  • Click GO..
          
          
  • Select F9
  • Click OK
          
           

Activating F9

  1. In F9 tab click License.
  2. Click on Activate.
  3. Enter the Activation Code and the click on Activate again.
If you do not have the activation code, login to F9 license  portal here  to get the activation code. F9 can only be activated once per user, so you will need to deactivate it on the portal first before you enter the code in excel.
