QuickBooks Desktop Statement Writer Error

Description

When you are trying to open an existing QuickBooks Desktop Statement you get an error "Microsoft Office Document Customization" as or you do not see the "Document Actions" section in hosted MS - Excel

Why is this issue happening

It is because the location where the Statement is store is not in the list of trusted location in MS - Excel

How to fix?

  1. Launch MS Excel from gotomyerp portal then go to File --> Options
           
  1. Click on Trust Centre --> Trust center settings
          
  1. Click on Trusted Locations, Place checkmark on "ALLOW TRUSTED LOCATIONS ON MY NETWORK" then click on "Add New Location":
           
  1. Click on Browse
           
  1. Click on G:\ or where ever your file is stored and click OK
         
  1. Now click On "Subfolders of this location are also trusted and click OK
           
  1. Now simply click OK for the next few windows and try open the Quickbooks statement and it should work.
